Senior farewell plans

Thursday, May 23rd is the seniors last day of school and prom. On this day, all seniors must be present. However, this year poses new plans for their last day. Instead of attending their first three hours for finals, they will participate in Senior Farewell activities.

They will all attend breakfast in the cafeteria, prepared by the VoTech chef, Chef Tony. During this time they have the opportunity to sign yearbooks, take pictures, and sign the Senior Banner, and hear from some JG staff. Following this the seniors will be clapped out by underclassmen while exiting the building. They will be loaded onto buses and transported to Stevenson to receive the same attention.

Again, they will be transported to an elementary ( Marshall, Wildwood, P.D. Graham, or Edison) to be clapped out for the final time. These students will return back to JG to be dismissed.

It is highly recommended seniors wear shirts that represent their plans after graduation or JG apparel.

These plans are the first step toward building connections with the elementary, middle, and high schools. This is a chance to show the our predecessors what they can achieve within they own lives.
