Anger Management

Some people have anger management problems and need help but can’t because they might not have enough money or they don’t have enough time to do so or something has/is happening with their family and can’t go get the help that they need. When it comes to anger issues some people think that something is seriously wrong with the person but their isn’t, they might just have something that makes them mad or that just need to talk to someone and get help. It’s not easy to figure out what makes someone so angry so fast but it’s not something everyone can do. Some people just need someone or something to make them calm. Some think that anger management classes should be a class here at jghs to help those that need it. If we have this class do you think that their would be less fights? I think that since people would be getting help there most likely won’t be as many fights that would happen. Most fights do have something to do with anger management problems and they can’t really control their anger. Some of you maybe asking what are signs of anger management problems… well losing your cool from time to time does not mean you have anger management problems. Mental health professionals look at trends in your behavior, emotional symptoms and physical symptoms to diagnose an anger disorder. Most  physical symptoms are:

  • Tingling
  • Heart palpitations or tightening of the chest
  • Increased blood pressure
  • Headaches
  • Pressure in the head or sinus cavities
  • Fatigue

There are many different types of anger management problems such as physical, internal, passive anger, aggressive anger and even more some might not have even been able to know the symptoms because they all are very different but at the same time the same. When you think of anger management problems you probably think right away “oh they need some serious help” but they aren’t different from the rest of us other than they need help to get their anger under control. Do you think we should have a class here at John Glenn High School for students that have anger management problems so they can get the help they need? I know that I feel that I can’t go up to any teacher and tell them something about myself so maybe if you don’t have to talk to them and they could just talk to you and listen to you and want you have to say and they can do what you need them to do for you. Don’t you think life would be so much easier if you had someone in your life that would just listen to you and not judge you and they can help you with your problems?
