As the excitement from Rivalz Week ends, the John Glenn boys basketball team faced the Wayne Memorial Zebras for a second time. The boys brought home the victory after a very intense game. Rockets vs. Zebras final score 49-52.

Team captain Kyle Holt  (22) scored 15 points and had four rebounds and five assists. Deonta Pearson (3) also scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four assists. 

The team as a whole had very complex and fast paced plays. “I predict that we will win the game,” Captain Xavier Miller (4) said. “We are very well prepared.” 

During the first quarter of the game for the first five minutes or so, neither team scored but by the end of the first quarter the score was 12-7 with John Glenn in the lead. The Rocket boys ended every quarter of the game in the lead. The intensity really had the crowd going wild. 

“That’s a travel… YOU CAN’T DO THAT!” Rocket fans shouted. Zebra fans chanted back,and each crowd shouted back and forth with various chants throughout the duration of the game to show their school pride. The stands were full to capacity on each side, the atmosphere very spirited.

Rockets take home yet another rivalry win!
