The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold (2002) makes you feel love, heartbreak, happiness, and even closure. The novel is about Suzie Salmon, who was murdered, then goes to heaven and watches her family, friends, and  people she had hardly known try to move on while she has to learn to come to terms with her death. And while they are trying to move on her dad and eventually her sister look innto her death and try to solve her murder. This book is descriptive and allows you to really feel what the different characters are going through.

Along with the book there was a movie made in 2009 based on the book.

The movie casts Saoirse Ronan (Suzie Salmon), Stanley Tucci (George Harvey), Mark Wahlberg (Jack Salmon), Rachel Weisz (Abigail Salmon), Rose Mclver (Lindsey Salmon), Micheal Imperioli ( Len Fenerman), Recce Ritchie (Ray Singh), and many others to put this book on screen.
