James Flournoy wins state championship

On June 1 senior track and field participant, James Flournoy competed in the MHSAA Division 1 Track & Field Championships held at East Kentwood High School. Flournoy even missed graduation for this event but it ended up paying off when he won first place in the 400m. Flournoy also qualified for two other events (100m and 200m) and earned all state honors in all three events he competed in.State Runner-Up – 100m (10.759 – two thousandths of a second from first)


400m- State Champion (48.32)

200m- All State (8th place – 22.18)

100m- State Runner-Up (10.759 – two thousandths of a second from first)
